Core Values

CHC and its management team have adopted the following core values in all aspects of its business:

  • act with integrity, high morals and ethics at all times
  • commit to CHC's Philosophy of Care to provide the highest level of care to residents and to ensure staff satisfaction

Corporate Citizenship

CHC has range of policies to ensure its corporate citizenship is consistent with its core values. For example, CHC’s environmental policy is consistent with its values and commercial objectives and reflects a commitment to the environment within the context of elements including sustainability and the minimisation of waste.

Other examples of CHC’s corporate citizenship are reflected in CHC’s day to day operations, including:

  • CHC’s commitment to implementing and training the Eden Principles
  • CHC’s alliances with child care centres and the Playgroup Association of WA and the establishment of inter-generational activities at CHC’s facilities
  • the operational alliances between CHC and the WA Schools of Nursing and the Royal College of Nursing Australia
  • CHC’s involvement in the WA aged care community and the Aged Care Association of Australia

CHC also has a policy of providing funding to scholarships, sponsorships and making charitable donations to organisations that are consistent with CHC’s core values.
