Continuing Health Care (CHC) is an established, accredited provider of premium aged care accommodation and health services in Western Australia.
CHC was founded as a family company in 1969. Prior to the acquisition of St Louis Estate in February 2007, CHC employed more than 240 people in three aged care facilities throughout the metropolitan area of Western Australia, accommodating approximately 210 aged residents. Since St Louis Estate has joined the CHC Group, CHC is responsible for more than 250 staff and nearly 400 residents.
CHC founder and proprietor Mrs Rhonda Peploe is supported by a team of professionals in management, nursing, project development and support services.
CHC is a pioneer in Australia of the internationally recognised Eden Principles. The principles acknowledge that by empowering all stakeholders in the care of aged residents, and introducing inter-generational activities such as interaction between residents, children and their families, a more positive and sustainable outcome can be achieved for residents, their families and care personnel.
CHC is proud of its ability to de-institutionalise residential care by creating more liveable, social settings for its residents.
