Continuing Health Care (CHC) has operated Melvista Care Facility since 2001. Since that time, a number of operational enhancements have been made including a registered children's play group. CHC enjoys an excellent working relationship with the ajoining retirement estate and recently began providing emergency care to its residents.

After careful planning during the past year, construction of the staged redevelopment and refurbishment of this facility commenced in August 2007. The refurbishment will include the creation of single rooms with ensuites, a dedicated dementia wing, additional office and training facilities, upgraded garden and landscaping spaces. The upgrade is due for completion in October 2008 following the 36th anniversary of CHC's original opening of this facility.

Mandurah Care Facility in Halls Head has recently undergone extensive expansion and refurbishment. A new wing was opened by the Member for Curtin the Honorable Julie Bishop in July 2005 and demonstrates best industry practice. In 2007, Mandurah Care Facility, became the first aged care facility in WA to be formally accredited by and registered with Eden in Oz as embracing the Eden Alternative™. CHC is currently reviewing opportunities to provide extra services at this facility.
St Louis Estate Care Facility
In 2007, planning commenced in consultation with St Louis Estate residents to develop a unique, integrated service at St Louis Estate through the co-location of premium quality retirement accommodation with the best available high care in a world class, boutique aged care facility. This new facility will embrace the Eden Principles and Greehouse Model and offer hotel-style accommodation and services. Construction commenced in late 2009 and the new facility is expected to be operational by mid 2011.
